Incredible!

The kraftwerk machine

Doesnt work as audiobus filter in IOS 8.1... Please an update soon !!!!

great live vocoder

easy to set up and to use, good sounding and quite flexible. Really nice and musical vocoder, inviting for experimentations. no long set ups, but start and play. Sequencer is a bit picky and should get an update. simple waveform editing (cutting and trimming) would be also great. great for experimentations and more.

great support!

thank you so much for updating this great app! :-)

Please make that great App acessible for voice-over users!

It is really sad, that that App is not accessible with VoiceOver for the blind and visually impaired People? so i cant try it

simple and easy would be better

/agree with the last guy something about this app is expensive; and hard to get good sounds out of, requires some interface adjustment

Wow

I dont really know what the few criticisms were for this app. This is better than most soft synths, it has so many built in phrases to play around with...plus realtime processing, recording, can set BPM. This is the real deal. Ive been playing with this for about 2 minutes and can already tell its potential, good quality. Its not nearly as complex as one reviewer made it sound. But I guess if one seldom uses music software it could be intimidating. I think $5.99 is an awesome price for a vocoder/synth. Good job, no complaints so far. Ive been hunting around for a good vocoder for PC and everything doesnt quite do it all or costs way too much money. This the price is right. However it says its 50% off right now. Id probably still buy it at $12.

A must for iOS musicians

Amazing. Much improved release. Outstanding control. Just incredible sound quality. You can record your own voxels and with a bit off effort to figure out the interface you can audiopaste or access recordings via iTunes. Very configurable control and the interface has been much improved as well. Very fun. The horsepower in my iPhone 4S really makes this app shine. Great job! Really like the full screen keyboard view where you slide up to modulate the sound- works amazing for controlling voice vibrato.

Im confused

The tutorial doesnt explain everything. Its a very quick start ..too quick. Most of the on-board sounds are un-intelligible. Program crashes .

Much improved

With audiobus support this app has achieved greatness, Ive had no problems so far with the new update. To new users: watch tutorial videos. Great job.

Problem

My microphone is playing static,it doesnt respond to my keyboard touch or my voice, the ipod touch microphone works but it doesnt work with this app, please find a fix

Bad interface

Interface can use some work.

Dont purchase this app!

I dont like to write bad reviews but I cant help feeling that I was ripped off. Interface is confusing and sloppy, constant crashes...this app is useless as is. Im keeping my fingers crossed for an update, but I wish I hadnt purchased it. It is the most expensive app Ive purchased so far and the only thing it does for me is to remind me, every time I blow past that stupid icon smiling up at me, caveat emptor -- buyer beware.

Awesome !

This software is awesome !

Ok, but a lot to improove

It doesnt recognise chords properly, Mic input is to easy to overdrive, even using dedicated Alesis IO Dock or other Mic preamps, no "live" mode... It has potential, but there are many things to improove. For now its more like fun-app rather than Music app.

Crash when rotate

Please fix this bug: it crashes when i rotate my iPad2 of 180 degrees.

Crash on iOS 7.0.4

...risolvete per favore?

TOTAL RIPOFF

DONT GET IT IT IS JUST A PIANO

Revue the PooH

The review page of this app has deteriorated over time to the point where reviewers cannot even find the master volume control. (It is, strangely, but not invisibly, on the "Effects" page.) Far from "total crap" or "just a piano" (an odd choice for an insult, and wrong), this remains the reference voice-synth app on platform - especially given its relatively modest price. There are lately new contenders that take different approaches. One comes from the same developer, which offers the user a simpler approach to this genre. Another comes from Wolfgang Palm, bring more control to the user, which usually means people complain there is something to learn. Both apps cost substantially more than this one. And there are others that have their own stories - usually turning out that the apps are either not as good as this app or they cover different synthesizer fields and only touch on vocal/formant synthesis. The main complaint here is that development has been very slow - with no updates for one long stretch. That primarily hurt interoperability, but not cripplingly so. Having caught up a bit, one hopes VirSyn will do better at maintenance of all their apps going forward. Note, this complaint about maintaining, fixing, and refining apps for this platform applies to a lot of synthesizer (and other) developers. Doing the work, however, keeps products alive and viable in the market (here, the App Store) and makes for happy customers who buy more of your products. If you need a voice synth on your pad, or even if you do not (like essentially everyone), and you are willing to fool around with the app until you understand it, this is well worth buying. It may not please everyone who demands that every type of workflow be accounted for by each app. To me, if I need to copy a recording to another app, I am fine with it, even if I often use Audiobus or whatever else. Others may be more demanding about conveniences. That said, it is very hard to do better in this specific category. The app balances control and ease of use well, it sounds very good indeed (this developer may be relied on for rich-sounding synths - where there is ever a problem it is either in maintenance or/and UI (Poseidon, for example, cries out for more and better control)), and it has a generous assortment of "voxels" (phonemes and phrases) to help users begin sculpting sounds.
